Week 26: good fruit :))

 Hello everybody :))


This was a good another really good week. Wednesday marks 6 months as a missionary and it's been a really hard and a really rewarding 6 months. I'm exhausted 24/7 and I struggle a lot but the joy I feel serving God's children here in Oregon is as good as it gets. 

We didn't teach a lot this week but we did some good service and had a lot of fun. My friend Hayden from my ward back at home goes to University of Oregon and since I'm so close to Eugene, I was able to meet him for dinner. It was refreshing to be with a familiar face and feel normal for a bit. We had a lot of fun reminiscing about our ward and catching up with each other. Solid 10/10 from me. 

Highlights of the week!:
1. We got to help Sister Keely with her garden! We planted 56 gladiola??? bulbs for her and it was so fun. She is so cute and so sweet and an absolute joy to be around. 
2. Sister LeCheminant and I spring cleaned out whole apartment!!!
3. District Council!! Our district is so fun this transfer! Can't believe we only have one more week together :'((
4. We helped a disabled recent convert out with her garden in the pouring rain! She is so good at teaching me patience and her husband is actually Job from the Bible. He is such a cool dude and we are hoping he will show some interest one day!  
5. I got some good naps this week!! I've never been so tired in my life than on the mission. Sometimes I think about sleeping in one day but then I get sad because I have to wait another year sooo its not the move. 

Anywho...I'm really happy here in Springfield. I'm in a good ward and zone and I'm having a lot of fun and doing done good work. Transfers are next week so hopefully I get to stay where I am! Oregon is a holy place and I'm excited for the next 12 months of service. I love and miss you all and hope everything and everyone is good! Remember to do the small and simple things!

  Hi guys! Hope you guys all had a great week! Our week was so busy but if was nice because we got so much done. I am really starting to get in a groove of missionary work to the point where I hope I get to train next transfer because I think it would be a blast! We are keeping busy with tons of service and member lessons which is good! Its nice to get out of the apartment and feel useful.  Highlights of the week! 1. We got to have interviews with President. He probably thinks I'm bonkers but he was laughing the whole time so I think thats a good sign hehe 2. We got to teach a new person David! Week 13: Let's get this bread

Heyy everyone! This was another really good week. I can't remember half the things we did but that just means we stayed busy :) I finally feel like I'm getting into the groove of things and we are getting a ton of new missionaries next transfer so I'm hoping I will be able to train soon.  Highlights this week!! 1. We served at Butte Creek Mill in Eagle Point with the zone which is a historic mill that burned down.  2. Sister Hill filmed a video story so we got to hang out with the social media elders again. They are super fun to be around and they were able to join our member lesson yesterday.  3. We didn't get enough members to share posts this week so we had to brush our teeth with flour, salt, and pepper as punishment. It was gross but not as bad as eating the half cup of mayo.  4. We played volleyball with the STLs this morning!!! Always a good time  5. I made 14 loaves of rosemary bread this week and we took it to some ward members and it was great to see e...

Week 12: Me and Sister Hill in Gold Hill pt 3

  Helllooo!!! It was another good week!! We had a lot to do and it was just overall a super busy week! We had a lot of miracles this week and did a lot of service which is fun!  Highlights!!: 1. We had zone conference on Wednesday which is super fun. Its always good to be with all the other missionaries and to see President and Sister Weekes. It was in Grants Pass which is super pretty! 2. We went to Jaspers and got the Jiffy which is a burger that has peanut butter, jelly, bacon, and provolone. It was divine.  3. We got to go the pear farm again...but the Sisters got stuck with scrubbing floors  4. We got to help film Sister Thueson's (Bishop's wife) video and it was super fun to hangout with the social media elders.  5. We played volleyball at mutual with the young women and I may or may not have gone easy on them. (Hint: I didn't hehe) 6. We got to walk a dog!!! His name is Winston and he's so sweet.  7.
