Week 11: Me and Sister Hill in Gold Hill

 Hi guys!

Hope you guys all had a great week! Our week was so busy but if was nice because we got so much done. I am really starting to get in a groove of missionary work to the point where I hope I get to train next transfer because I think it would be a blast! We are keeping busy with tons of service and member lessons which is good! Its nice to get out of the apartment and feel useful. 

Highlights of the week!

1. We got to have interviews with President. He probably thinks I'm bonkers but he was laughing the whole time so I think thats a good sign hehe

2. We got to teach a new person David! He is super cool and really nice so we are hoping to continue our lessons. 

3. We got to do a tour of the Laie temple with our friend Jeff. He has COVID and stage 4 cancer so he's very quarantined right now but he absolutely loved it. 

4. We got to walk Sadie and Candy again and their owner made us charm bracelets. She's very much a retired hippy because she says groovy and rad a lot which is awesome. 

5. We got to do service at the temple grounds and the church's pear farm!

6. We were able to speak at the great to b 8 yesterday which was fun!

7. We hiked table rock today! Its definitely not as green as my last area but thats ok. 

I am really enjoying my time in Oregon. I used to dread thinking about how much time I have left because its overwhelming but now I just get excited that I have so much ahead of me! My scripture study is going great and I am cranking through the Book of Mormon. During the millennium, if I am not married...I'm tracking down Captain Moroni (only if Nephi is taken). Just saying lol.
