Week 21-23: better late than never
Hello everyone!!!
Happy Easter!! My pdays have been flying by so I'm so sorry that i missed 2 weeks. Anyways, I had a ton happen so this is going to be a loooong one, so bear with me please. The biggest news is that I got transferred!!!! I was so sad to leave the awesome members in Gold Hill but I am so excited for a change! I am now in Springfield, Oregon and I am follow up training Sister Lecheminant from Gilbert, AZ!! We are in an apartment share with Sister Hobbs and Sister Earl and we are having so much fun together. This is going to be such an awesome transfer and I'm so excited to be in this zone!
You know I feel like my emails should just have a section dedicated to things I don't want my mission president to find out about sooooooo....on this edition I climbed a fence and then climbed onto a carport and then scaled the balconies of my apartment complex because I we got locked out and I don't regret it one bit. I did get some puncture wounds from the super sharp fence that left some nasty bruises and cuts but at the end of the day...I would do it again in a heart beat. Word got around pretty fast that I did it but most people were just really impressed, as they should be lollll
Ok now I'm just going to bullet point everything else because there's a lot I need to mention because I gotta make record of everything!!
• I went to the pear farm for the very last time! It was very bittersweet but they provided us lunch and we all got to hang out together since our whole zone was there!
• we had our last district council of the transfer and took zone pics after!! So fun!! We played Jeopardy and partied!
• we had Sister Cosper's funeral at the Spencer's. We gave her a viking funeral and it was so amazing!
• I was reunited with Sister Nuttall and Sister Hill at the transfer spot
• We got to help clean up some of the fire sites in Blue River!
• Conference!!! It was so amazing and the whole chapel cheered when they announced that our mission is getting another temple!
• we got to have Easter at a members house! We ate some bomb Navajo tacos and we set up the Easter egg hunt for the kids!
• we woke up at 5am to do a sunrise hike and im very exhausted but it was a awesome!
Ok so a lot more happened but I can't remember soooo I will just have to compensate with pics. Buuuuuuut...TOMORROW IS MY BIRTHDAY!! I am actually disgusted that I'll officially be in my 20s but im so pumped for a mission birthday!! We are going to partyy!!!
Well this has been a good few weeks. I feel very content where I am and I'm having so much fun. I'm teaching a lot and doing a lot a service. I'm trying to make the most of my time and make the Lord proud. I can't think of anything more important than me being where I am right now. I love and miss you all and hope you are staying safe!! Rememeber to be good citizens, to wear your masks, and to say your prayers and read your scriptures.
Love,
Sister Crouch
