Week 20: gold hill renowned pogo sticker?

 Hi guys!

What a good week! It was so busy and felt so long but looking back we were able to do so many awesome things. We officially only have one week of the transfer left which is exciting and a little nerve wracking. I love my zone and my ward here so I will be sad to go if I get transferred but we will see what happens!

On Tuesday, we were able to help with young men's since they were doing a mini MTC. They asked and me and Sister Smith to help them with their door knocking approach which was so funny considering I have never been tracting. It was really fun to see have the different age groups did. The priests were so cocky and literally told me that Joseph Smith wrote The Book of Mormon so I went a little hard on them lol but the teachers were so chaotic it was hilarious but let's just say its a good thing they still have 4 years to practice. The Deacons on the other hand were so adorable. They knocked on the door and told me that I should read the BOM and that I could purchase it online and they complimented my outfit. They were so tender.

Anyways, this weekend was such a big highlight for my whole mission. On Saturday we were able to go the Spencer's house and help them with their property! The Spencer's are actually angels and some on the most amazing people I've ever met. They have been so good to me while I've been in Gold Hill and they are so sweet and giving and I am so grateful for them. We helped pick up some leaves and clean up after their donkey and mini horse which was a good time. The STLs joined us and we all had a blast and ate some delicious food. Not tryna flex but I absolutely destroyed everyone on the pogo stick and even did it with no hands for a bit. Afterwards, we were able to do a lesson all together with Glen and Kathy. Sister Cosper and I had been messaging her separately for a while and we finally got to do a lesson with them and invite them to church and they came!! They loved it and even took pictures of themselves at the temple and posted them on their Facebook and tagged me in it lol. I have a really good feeling about them and I know this gospel is exactly what they need in their lives.

Well, we did some other good stuff but these were definitely the highlights! The mission is really hard and I'm so exhausted 24/7 but there's no place I'd rather be. I miss everyone tons and hope everything is going well for everyone! You know the drill, remember to wear your masks, read your scriptures, and to say your prayers.

Love you all!!!
