Week 18: Bigfoots?? Or Bigfeet??
Hi everybody!
This week so was busy but it went by so slow. We had a lot of good stuff happen and some really good visits. We went to a lot of widows houses and had great lessons with them! It was so fun and it was super awesome being able to reach out to them and show them that they are loved.
Alsoooooo...WE GOT A BRAND NEW CAR. Its a 2021 Equinox so its pretty nice
Highlights this week!
1. Zone Conference! Zone conference is always so fun and we were able to have it combined with the Medford zone. We focused a lot on ministering to the people in our wards and the people were teaching which was really awesome!
2. Exchanges! Me and Sister Cosper were together for the day and we taught some good lessons and had a great time.
3. Pear farm! Almost all the zone was there which is always so fun!
4. We got to walk Winston! He's not a dog, he's a dawg.
5. President Weekes called to check up on me. It was really good and made me feel very loved.
6. The Thueson's and Russell's made us the best Al Pastor tacos I've ever had. Oh my gosh they were so good.
7. I left the keys inside the apartment so we were locked out the whole night so we had to have a sleepover at the stls apartment
Anyways Sister Cospee and I were able to go to sister Zimmer's house and she is the cutest 90 year old woman. We asked her what she could do that was really small to invite the spirit in her home.I'm sitting there thinking oh she'll give us the typical answers you get like reading the scriptures or saying your prayers but she starts talking about how she needs to stop watching videos about bigfoot and not just one bigfoot but bigfoots. She was telling us that there are good and bad bigfoots and she thinks she's seen one before were sitting there nodding our heads like wow thats super cool and trying not to just die laughing. She went on about them for like 15 minutes and it was just so good. I love that lady so much. Our ward is so good here in Gold Hill.
Well I hope everyone is doing good and staying healthy. I think about yall often and miss you guys a lot! I'm officially 4 months in so the next 14 months are going to fly by! I love everyone and don't forget to say your prayers, read your scriptures, and to wear your mask!
Love,
Sister Crouch
