Week 17: Slow and steady
Hi everyone!!
This was kind of a boring week but its always a good week being a missionary. Lol not sure how true that statement was but we will roll with it. Anyways, even though it was kind of slow we did a lot of good stuff!
On Tuesday I had my interview with my mission president and it was really good. Its always nice to talk with him and hear the advice he has for me. I was telling him about my struggles and he gave me the challenge to restart The Book of Mormon. I was kind of mad because I was almost done but he made me get a clean book and he wants me to finish the whole thing in 90 days while only marking references to Christ. I'm not sure how it exactly relates to what we talked about but when I figure it out I will let you guys know.
Highlights of the week!!:
1. Pear farm!!! I didn't have to scrub toilets this time. Instead I shredded thousands of sheets of paper
2. District Council: we have a really good time together and our district leader Elder Lowe always gets us frosties with his fat stack of free frosty keychains.
3. We met with a new referral named Ian! It probably won't go far since he just bashes us but you never know!
4. All the sisters played volleyball today and I was named MVP which was a nice ego boost for me.
5. Bro Jankowski got us subway, doughnuts, in n out, and panda express all this week. He is so sweet to us!
6. I got to talk with my Turkish friend Gorkem a lot this week. I help him with his English and he is legit my favorite person to message.
Well that's all I have for you this week! I hope you guys all had an amazing week and that you are all staying healthy and safe. I miss you guys a lot! Remember to read your scriptures, say your prayers, and to wear your mask!
Love you all!
