Week 15: 2 transfers down a ton to go!!

 Hiiii guys!!!!


Well we got our transfer news yesterday! I am staying here in Gold Hill and my companion is going to the beach to be an STL! Super excited to stay in this zone.  Its so nice not having to pack and this ward is so amazing and filled with really awesome people. I feel really blessed to be here. This zone has been amazing and it was really hard saying bye to everyone that is leaving. 

Highlights of the week!! 
1. We got to help with temple yard work and while we did that we took a tour of the Rome temple which is really amazing! 
2. We got to go the pear farm again this week. Don't ever trust the words "we have some special projects for the sisters" because it translates to scrubbing toilets and kitchens 
3. We got to help with YWs. Kind of weird to be in that setting again but its a blast to the past seeing how the younger girls act and talk. 
4. We got to film a video of our WML with the social media elders which was super fun. Again, always a good time seeing them
5. We got to walk dogs!!
6. I GRADUATED TRAINING FINALLY 

This week we met with Wily got moved down here to be eligible for baptism. He's a really awesome guy and is practically a member already. He's going to be an awesome addition to the ward and I'm hoping I'll be able to see him get baptized!! He has been going to church for 13 years and has a super solid testimony. We also are meeting with Jeff tonight and teaching him the word of wisdom so wish us luck! He's a smoker and loves coffee but 1 Nephi 3:7 says that Heavenly Father provides us a way to do what he as asked. I'm a little nervous but excited to teach him! 

I'm so happy to be out of traing and keep on progressing in the mission. This has been an amazing 12 weeks on the field and I know the next 60+ are going to be just as good. It's a privilege to put my tag on each day and be a representative for Christ. I know this is where the Lord needs me. I love and miss you all and hope you have an amazing week!! Remember to say your prayers, read your scriptures, and to wear your mask.

  Hi guys! Hope you guys all had a great week! Our week was so busy but if was nice because we got so much done. I am really starting to get in a groove of missionary work to the point where I hope I get to train next transfer because I think it would be a blast! We are keeping busy with tons of service and member lessons which is good! Its nice to get out of the apartment and feel useful.  Highlights of the week! 1. We got to have interviews with President. He probably thinks I'm bonkers but he was laughing the whole time so I think thats a good sign hehe 2. We got to teach a new person David! Week 13: Let's get this bread

Heyy everyone! This was another really good week. I can't remember half the things we did but that just means we stayed busy :) I finally feel like I'm getting into the groove of things and we are getting a ton of new missionaries next transfer so I'm hoping I will be able to train soon.  Highlights this week!! 1. We served at Butte Creek Mill in Eagle Point with the zone which is a historic mill that burned down.  2. Sister Hill filmed a video story so we got to hang out with the social media elders again. They are super fun to be around and they were able to join our member lesson yesterday.  3. We didn't get enough members to share posts this week so we had to brush our teeth with flour, salt, and pepper as punishment. It was gross but not as bad as eating the half cup of mayo.  4. We played volleyball with the STLs this morning!!! Always a good time  5. I made 14 loaves of rosemary bread this week and we took it to some ward members and it was great to see e...

Week 12: Me and Sister Hill in Gold Hill pt 3

  Helllooo!!! It was another good week!! We had a lot to do and it was just overall a super busy week! We had a lot of miracles this week and did a lot of service which is fun!  Highlights!!: 1. We had zone conference on Wednesday which is super fun. Its always good to be with all the other missionaries and to see President and Sister Weekes. It was in Grants Pass which is super pretty! 2. We went to Jaspers and got the Jiffy which is a burger that has peanut butter, jelly, bacon, and provolone. It was divine.  3. We got to go the pear farm again...but the Sisters got stuck with scrubbing floors  4. We got to help film Sister Thueson's (Bishop's wife) video and it was super fun to hangout with the social media elders.  5. We played volleyball at mutual with the young women and I may or may not have gone easy on them. (Hint: I didn't hehe) 6. We got to walk a dog!!! His name is Winston and he's so sweet.  7.
