Week 14: I'm tired of thinking of subject lines
Hi everyone!
Another really good really fast week. We only have one more week in the transfer which is insane. I feel like I just got to Gold Hill so this transfer has gone by so fast. We stayed pretty busy and had some fun this week and had a ton of lessons which is always sooo good.
Highlights of the week!!:
1. I got to walk 2 German Shepards. They were really cool and I got my dog fix for the week so it was a win win.
2. I started offering English help on a language exchange page I'm on. Big big big mistake but I've been able to help people from Poland, Turkey, Egypt, Peru, and India. One of them tried to get me to marry him sooo yah
3. We had exchanges so me and Sister Depew hung out for the day. She's a blast and its nice to switch things up for a little bit.
4. On exchanges we did a salvation army coat drive with the zone. I felt like I was with deacons for 4 hours but the Elders just make things more fun. They are absolutely insane but an entertaining kind of insane.
5. Institute!! Always a good time.
In Institute this week we discussed doubt and the importance of primary and secondary questions which was so good. Basically, you shouldn't lose your testimony on the big things by trying to solve the small things. I really needed that class because I've been kind of struggling trying to understand the more controversial things in the church. It was a good reminder to just focus on the things I know and not the things I can't understand. I think a lot of people would benefit from the talk we read so I'll link that.
Anyways I hope you all are doing good and staying healthy. Remember to read your scriptures, say your prayers, and to wear your mask!!
Love you all!!!
