Week 8: Servin in Sutherlin

 Hey guys!


The days are going by so fast that when I sit down to write these emails I can't even remember what I did lol. Anyways, this was a really good week. We did a lot of fun stuff but I have to say the highlight of the week was......wait for it....MY FACEBOOK GOT HACKED!!! jk that actually is terrible and has been really horrible to deal with so please pray that I can get my account back :') 

Ok real fast here are some highlights this week:
1. We got to serve at the Huntsacher's greenhouse and they made the best spaghetti I have ever had with ingredients they grew themselves. 
2. We got to do a free hot chocolate stand with the zone and pass it out at a grocery store. 
3. We got to do an escape room that is run by a family in our ward and we actually set the record time for it.
4. I got to pet a cow with dwarfism named Annie and she gave me cow kisses which were pretty gross but thats ok. 
5. Not tryna brag or anything but I am absolutely killing New Missionary Training.
6. Sutherlin did a super fun Christmas parade!

Now let me talk about why dogs are the best and cats are the worst four legged animals invented. Theres a cat that meows and meows outside our door for food and you know what, I tried to be nice and give it some chicken and it liked that alot so its been coming back everyday. Here's the thing, I'm ballin on a budget out here with MSF and I can barely afford to feed myself so I gave it some pancakes and it did not want that at all but I was like ok fine. The next day he comes meowing at 7am and I look up on Facebook what cats like to eat and it said scrambled eggs so I made him some and he sniffed it and sprinted away so fast and I was so hurt so I have pledged to never feed it again and I will live by that pledge.

Anyways, I hope you guys have a Merry Christmas!! Eat some good food and remember to celebrate the real reason for the season!! Also don't forget to read your scriptures, say your prayers, and take your vitamins!! And seriously, please pray that I will get access to my Facebook again considering all my finding is on there.

  Hi guys! Hope you guys all had a great week! Our week was so busy but if was nice because we got so much done. I am really starting to get in a groove of missionary work to the point where I hope I get to train next transfer because I think it would be a blast! We are keeping busy with tons of service and member lessons which is good! Its nice to get out of the apartment and feel useful.  Highlights of the week! 1. We got to have interviews with President. He probably thinks I'm bonkers but he was laughing the whole time so I think thats a good sign hehe 2. We got to teach a new person David! He is super cool and really nice so we are hoping to continue our lessons.  3. We got to do a tour of the Laie temple with our friend Jeff. Week 13: Let's get this bread

Heyy everyone! This was another really good week. I can't remember half the things we did but that just means we stayed busy :) I finally feel like I'm getting into the groove of things and we are getting a ton of new missionaries next transfer so I'm hoping I will be able to train soon.  Highlights this week!! 1. We served at Butte Creek Mill in Eagle Point with the zone which is a historic mill that burned down.  2. Sister Hill filmed a video story so we got to hang out with the social media elders again. They are super fun to be around and they were able to join our member lesson yesterday.  3. We didn't get enough members to share posts this week so we had to brush our teeth with flour, salt, and pepper as punishment. It was gross but not as bad as eating the half cup of mayo.  4. Week 12: Me and Sister Hill in Gold Hill pt 3

  Helllooo!!! It was another good week!! We had a lot to do and it was just overall a super busy week! We had a lot of miracles this week and did a lot of service which is fun!  Highlights!!: 1. We had zone conference on Wednesday which is super fun. Its always good to be with all the other missionaries and to see President and Sister Weekes. It was in Grants Pass which is super pretty! 2. We went to Jaspers and got the Jiffy which is a burger that has peanut butter, jelly, bacon, and provolone. It was divine.  3. We got to go the pear farm again...but the Sisters got stuck with scrubbing floors  4. We got to help film Sister Thueson's (Bishop's wife) video and it was super fun to hangout with the social media elders.  5. We played volleyball at mutual with the young women and I may or may not have gone easy on them. (Hint: I didn't hehe) 6. We got to walk a dog!!! His name is Winston and he's so sweet.  7.
